Healthy Green Immune System Booster Detox Drink
Ingredients
- Zucchinis / 2
- Kale / 1 cup
- Broccoli / 4 cup
- Coconut oil / 1 tablespoon
- Onion / 1 medium size
- Water / 2 cup
- Sodium veggie broth / 4 cup
- Garlic / 6-8 pieces
- Ginger / 1 teaspoon
- Parsley (as required)
- Cilantro
Preparation
First, add a tablespoon of coconut oil in a pot and put it on the heat. Olive oil can also be used. So feel free to use whatever you really like. Once the oil is heated through, add in one chopped onion along with a pinch of salt.
That's all what going to help to pull some liquid out of onion. So it cooks a little faster. It'll go for about 5 minutes or until the onion is translucent and fragrant.
Next, we're going to add some beautiful green veggies. So add two chopped zucchinis, one small bunch of kale leaves that stems and roughly chopped.
And then about 4 cups of broccoli florets. All these vegetables are known to help cleanse the body and support your immune system.

Next up we're going to add some liquid to our drink. So add in four cups of a low sodium veggie broth along with a couple of cups of cold filtered water. Really you just want the water to come right over all of your vegetables. You could go with all broth or all water depend on your choice to make this immune system booster detox drink.
The broth is going to add a little more flavor, while the water will give it a very clean fresh flavor.
From here we need to turn the heat up and let everything come to a boil. Then reduce it down to a simmer and let it go for about 10 minute or until the broccoli is nice and tender. Now turn off the heat and this is when we are adding garlic and ginger.
Take 6-8 pieces of garlic and put into the pot along with a teaspoon of fresh ginger. Afterwards just pop the lid on and let that sit for a while until it's cool enough to handle. Once it is cool enough to work with. We will work in batches.
Now we're going to add it into the blender about a third of the way to a halfway up along with a small handful of parsley and cilantro with each batch. You can also give this a pinch of salt for flavor. Again keeping these green raw veggies and adding them in at the end gives the drink a big hit of chlorophyll. Which really helps to support the body and detoxifying while supporting the immune system as well.
Blend this up until everything comes together and got a nice, smooth and creamy texture. Then pour that out and repeat the steps with the left over. We just need to do that until we've worked through all the drink.
It's OK if you want to take the soup right away or you could put it all back in the pot and gently reheat it until it's warm enough to serve. You can get it ready and store it for the entire week.
